Feminine Hygiene Marketer, HelloFlo, is successfully using humour to present their line of products. While I’m sure some people get upset (can’t please everyone), HelloFlo are attracting interest by cleverly standing out from the crowd.
They even have a monthly payment plan. Very clever! 5 days before the product is needed, a discreet box arrives in the mail with everything you need – including treats!
16 Million Views – And Counting
When I first saw First Moon Party, 4 days ago, it had 8 Million views on YouTube. 6 hours later I shared it with my family (wife and 2 sons). It was laughs all around. Then I saw the view count: 12 Million. Impressive!

It’s kind of hard not to laugh most of the way through this video. As a content marketer, I highly admire how HelloFlo have gone about this. It’s a dream come true to have a video go viral.
Clever Content Marketing
Content marketing is about getting your content out there. Be it written, audio, video – it doesn’t matter. As long as you get your message and brand out there in a clever way, you’re on a winner!
If you want to stand out and excel in your field, it is worth polarizing your audience. The more people that love you, the more people will become harsh critics. Playing it safe and sitting on the fence never made anyone rich. HelloFlo is staying away from the fence.
